Es passierten auch Dinge im shackspace, als fast alle auf dem #CCCamp2015 waren.
So hat der shackspace nun vier Antennen für den Empfang von diversen Satellitensignalen auf dem Dach. Konkret geht es um Signale von Forschungssatelliten, Cubesats, Wettersatelliten und auch die Internationale Raumstation (ISS).
Mit dem nun angepflanzten Antennenwald möchten wir allen Interessierten zeigen, wie man Satellitensignale empfangen kann, was Satelliten senden und wie man seine eigenen Antennen bauen kann.
Interesse geweckt? Dann komme im shackspace vorbei! Ein RTL-SDR Empfänger („DVB USB Stick“), den man zum Empfang benötigt, gibt es vor Ort. Wer gar einen rad1o Badge auf dem CCCamp2015 ergattern konnte, der kann diese dort natürlich auch gleich testen.

Der Antennenwald besteht aktuell aus
- 2m-Band WIMO Turnstile Antenne (Empfang von z.B. der ISS).
- 2m-Band QFH Antenne (super für NOAA Wettersatelliten).
- 70cm-Band QFH Antenne.
- 70cm-Band WIMO Yagi Hochgewinnantenne (Amateurfunksatelliten und Cubesats).
Es gibt also vieles zu entdecken. 
Der Antennenwald soll selbstverständlich weiter wachsen. Solltet ihr also Funkamateur sein und eine Antenne übrig haben, dann seid herzlich eingeladen eine weitere Antennen dort zu pflanzen.
Mit dem Antennenwald wollen wir euch ermuntern euch mit Satelliten, Amateurfunk und Software Defined Radio zu beschäftigen und damit tolle Projekte zu machen. Wie wäre es z.B. mit Echtzeit Wetterdaten auf unserem Kioskdisplay in der Lounge?
Last but not least: Wir bräuchten noch eine Blume für unsere “Antennenerdung”!

shackspace spots satellites
There are still great things happening at shackapce even while almost everyone is gone for #CCCamp2015.
Now shackspace has four antennas for receiving several different satellite signals mounted on its rooftop. Precisely speaking, they receive signals of research satellites, cubesats, weather satellites and the International Space Station (ISS).
With the freshly planted Antennenwald (antenna forest) we want everyone who’s interested to see how easy it is to receive satellite signals, which satellites are transmitting and how you can build your own antenna.
Got your attention now? Just come to shackspace! The required RTL-SDR receiver („DVB USB dongle“) is already waiting for you here. If you are one of those lucky ones who got a hold of a rad1o Badge during CCCamp2015, you can test it here. Drop us an email via our Constellation mailinglist.
